Available Experience Areas

Voice-Assisted Softlines Pricing

Capture the product details the agency chooses while employees handle the item. Brand, condition, size, style, and other fields remain configurable rather than mandatory.

Available on Android phones and tablets, iOS phones and tablets, and Windows desktops. Mobile deployment requires only a compatible device, Wi‑Fi, and a networked printer, allowing stores to add or surge staff with minimal IT burden.

Vision-Assisted Hardlines Processing

Use ReCommend to help pricers identify unfamiliar products, recognize potential value, and receive guidance for in-store pricing, e-commerce routing, additional review, or another agency-defined recovery path. Available through static imaging or mobile capture. ReCommend provides guidance while the pricer remains in control.

Channel Optimization

Explore how product information, expected recovery, agency rules, and operational context can help determine whether an item belongs in retail, e-commerce, specialty handling, salvage, or another agency-defined channel.

E-Commerce Optimization

Use AI to prepare listings from product images, including product descriptions, categories, forms and templates, listing strategy, image cleanup, background removal, and estimated dimensions and weights.

At Goodwill Central Texas, top-performing listers now complete more than 500 listings per day, compared with the previous daily goal of 90.

Dynamic Pricing — Continuing to Evolve

Better pricing begins with better product understanding. Dynamic Pricing should bring together product details, demand, inventory, sell-through, store context, local-market demographics, pricing strategy, and channel opportunities.

A SCENARIO TO EXPLORE — NOT A GUARANTEED RESULT

What could a 10% improvement in realized retail revenue mean for your agency?

Even a modest improvement in realized retail value could create significant financial and mission impact across an agency’s stores. The Dynamic Pricing experience examines that opportunity using the agency’s products, stores, sales history, local markets, and pricing strategy.

Product Understanding Comes First

Better pricing and channel decisions depend on understanding the product.

For softlines, that may involve voice-assisted capture. For hardlines, that may involve established vision-assisted recognition through ReCommend. OCR may also be explored where labels, tags, model plates, packaging, sizes, or other product markings can provide useful information.

The agency decides how much information is practical to capture.

Works with Existing Systems

ThriftMetrics pricing and production capabilities are POS-agnostic and designed to work with most POS environments.

• Integrate with the current environment
• Retain existing labels, categories, and pricing structures
• Avoid a forced POS replacement
• Preserve a practical migration path if the agency later chooses to modernize its production-pricing platform

Keep What Works. Change What Doesn’t.

FUTURE DIRECTION

Future Exploration

Robotics & Automation

Robotics and automated handling are not currently offered as a standard deployable capability within the AI Experience. The engagement may include future-state discussion or workflow analysis related to automated imaging, product recognition, routing logic, conveyor and diverter integration, robotic handling, and Dynamic Pricing integration.

ThriftMetrics provides the information-processing and integration layer. The physical robotics shown in demonstrations are representative third-party equipment.

Robotics & Automation represents a future direction, not a currently selectable deployment.

Agency Responsibilities

• Power and Wi‑Fi
• Reasonable access to relevant systems and data
• An engaged operational contact
• Participation in configuration and working sessions
• Feedback from employees and leadership
• A suitable environment for the selected experience

Data Ownership and Privacy

Your agency owns its data.

Agency-specific information is not shared without permission.

Data may be used to configure and improve the agency’s own experience. Any broader pooling or sharing would require separate agreement.
